Do you want to join this group?

Who wouldn't?
It’s election time again, and the National Women’s Health Network is inviting nominations for our board of directors. All NWHN members will have a chance to vote for the new board during the spring 2010 elections. We are seeking candidates who understand and agree with the NWHN’s mission and goals and who are committed to the activist nature of the organization. We seek diversity in race, class, age, sexual identity and geographic location, and candidates who have varied skills and experiences in women’s health. All applicants must be NWHN members.
NWHN has a working board. Board members are expected to attend three weekend board meetings each year and to participate in fundraising and on a board committee. Meetings take place in various locations including Washington, D.C. and California. For more information on board responsibilities or  to get a nomination form, please contact our office coordinator, LaTasha Jackson at ljackson@nwhn.org or at (202) 682-2640.  Click here  to see copies of candidate election statements from previous elections.
If you know someone who would make a good board member – or if you're interested in joining the board yourself – please send in a nomination! You can submit the form by fax, email or regular mail. We must receive all nominations in our office no later than January 11, 2010. Nominations received after this date will not be valid.
Mailed nominations can be sent to:
