40 Parties for 40 Years

Who doesn’t love a party? I think the best gatherings are those with great conversations on fun occasions. This year, the National Women’s Health Network celebrates the 40th Anniversary of our founding. The Board and staff of the Network are excited to look back at our accomplishments, reflect on the lessons learned and, of course, move our agenda forward. We are planning a year-long recognition of our anniversary, and I hope you can play a role in our celebrations.

I am writing to invite you to host an event as part of our 40 for 40 series. We are planning to host 40 events in different cities in honor of our 40th Anniversary. Events could be anything from a brunch, talk by local women’s health activist, a book club meeting, cocktails & conversation or dinner, a walk or run—whatever you feel comfortable hosting and think people would enjoy.

40 for 40 events will help the Network to:
1. Raise funds
2. Raise awareness
3. Celebrate our accomplishments

Network staff and board will be traveling throughout the country this year, and they are coming to a city near you (to name a few):

New York, NY                     Austin, TX
Berkeley, CA                      Dallas, TX
Chicago, IL

We know you care deeply about the Network and our mission—and so do we. That’s why it’s imperative that our 40th year is a ground-breaking one.

If you’re interested in hosting an event (or attend one in your city), contact our Membership Department today!

I hope to see you soon, and look forward to celebrating many more milestones for all women!
