Women’s March on Washington
Last January, over 5 million people participated in the worldwide protest we know now as the 2017 Women’s March, with a half-million of them marching right here in D.C.
I have many prominent memories from the Women’s March on Washington. Hearing the cheers of half a million people reverberate through the buildings on Independence Avenue, all calling for change.
The National Women’s Health Network is no stranger to demonstrations, rallies, and marches. We’ve made it a point to be at the forefront, advocating on behalf of women.
The National Women’s Health Network supports the mission of the Women’s March, and is proud to join in this effort to send a bold message to the new government that women’s rights are human rights.
