The National Women’s Health Network (“NWHN” or “we”) shares your concern about the protection of your personal information on the online. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it. We maintain the privacy of your non-public information using security technologies and adhere to policies that prevent unauthorized use of your personal information. This policy discusses the information and the manner in which that information is used to ensure a smooth and secure experience while connected to www.nwhn.org and offline.

NWHN collects the following information about website users: personal information users voluntarily provide by participating on our website; and tracking data which is automatically collected (see “cookies” section further below).
Personal information can be voluntarily collected as follows:
when making an online donation through our website;
completing a sign-up form;
participating in an online petition;
sending website content to a friend;
submitting a health request to Women’s Health Voice (WHV); or
sharing your story.
We also use your information on an aggregated basis to do such things as operate our website and statistically analyze website usage, including the behavior of our visitors, to improve the content, layout and upgrade the nwhn.org website.
The website provides a feature that allows users to share online content with their friends. If you decide to use this feature, an email address of both you and the recipient will be required. This personal information is used solely to send the content to the recipient.
Share Your Story
If you decide to share your story and/or photos, we reserve the right to edit your story and post it at our discretion. By submitting your story, you give NWHN the permission to edit the content to fit the goals and objectives of each activity.
NWHN website contains links to other websites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are entering another website for which NWHN has no responsibility. NWHN encourages you to read the privacy statements on all websites you enter, as their policies may be different.
NWHN reserves the right, at any time, to modify this policy. Changes made to this policy will be effective immediately upon posting. If you have questions about this policy or wish to change your personal information previously provided, please contact NWHN at the contact information listed below.
If you no longer wish to receive email correspondence from NWHN, you can do so by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of each email. Please note that your donation and/or activist records will remain in NWHN databases. If you have questions about discontinuing your membership, please contact email@example.com.
