With five credentials from the Pennsylvania Certification Board, including Certified Community Health Worker, Certified Family Recovery Specialist, Certified Recovery Specialist, and Certified Disaster Crisis Outreach and Referral Professional, she is well-equipped to drive positive change. In her role at Angels Protection Inc., Makaila has created a nurturing haven and support network for mothers and their children, young women, and families between the ages of thirteen through twenty. Her resolute passion revolves around amplifying the voices of those who often go unheard. Beyond her nonprofit work, Makaila is actively pursuing her calling as a pastor, aspiring to extend her influence and serve her community in a spiritual dimension.
