Before starting K’ept Health, Sheena worked as a senior government relations and strategic communications director within the healthcare industry for some of the nation’s leading trade associations and Fortune 50 companies, including Walgreens. She currently is a member of the Consumer Technology Association’s AI in Healthcare Working Group and the Women’s High-Tech Coalition, an advisory committee to the Congressional High-Tech Coalition. Sheena has received several awards for her work including the Alumni Trailblazer in Advocacy Award by The George Washington University, as a Company and Founder to Watch by the Washington Business Journal, and by Columbia University’s HITTLAB as The Women’s HealthTech Company of the Year. She has a master’s degree from George Washington University and is a graduate of Clark-Atlanta University.
